CLEANING PROCESSES: We are committed to enhanced cleaning processes which means it may be difficult to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out due to the additional time needed to properly clean and disinfect the property. High touch surfaces (countertops, light switches, handles, and faucets) are cleaned and disinfected. All linens, towels and bedding are washed in between stays and we are making this property unavailable for three 3 days (72 hours) in-between guests.
CANCELLATIONS: Only in the event the cancellation is a direct result of the pandemic, for example (country or region ) again orders the stoppage of vacation rentals sometime in the fall due to high number of of local cases. Or, (country) decides to restrict travel from the US..., guests will be given the opportunity to receive full credit for their reservation if they rebook within one year. If the guest is unable to take the credit, the guest will receive a full refund if the booking is cancelled at least 14 days before the start. If the guest cancels 1 - 14 days before the start of the stay they will receive a 50% refund. If they cancel within 24 hours of the stay, no refund will be given. There will be a cancellation fee of five (05%) percent or fifty ($50) dollars) whichever is greater because that is the merchant fee we pay Stripe and/or PayPal when we first accepted your reservation.
NOTE: We are not in the business of keeping your hard earned money. We simply ask that you give us sufficient notice, the longer the better. If you do make your cancellation request within 1-14 days and you provide a medical letter from your doctor that prohibits you or a loved one from traveling due to Covid, we reserve the right to accept (or deny the request). We took grave financial losses in 2020 yet we refunded all guests who requested Covid cancellations in 2020.
POSTPONE / RESCHEDULE: Whenever possible we ask that you consider postponing your trip and we would be happy to reschedule your dates for future travel. Keep in mind that any future dates are subject to holidays and special event pricing and we will need to invoice you for the difference in pricing if any. Any monies due for this reason can be paid via Zelle (free for both). Or if you prefer PayPal, we can do so as long as you cover the 3.00% fee.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: You may want to consider purchasing optional travel insurance (e.g. www.travelprotection.insure) (e.g. www.insuremytrip.com) that protects your vacation investment against unforeseen events like a hurricane, sickness, injury, flight cancellation, job loss and much more.
